ABOUT JON BOWLY · CPN (AARPN)
If you feel like your body
has stopped responding,
you're not alone.
Many of the people who arrive at Fast Forward Nutrition are capable, organised individuals who manage demanding lives — but feel completely confused when it comes to their metabolism.
"Most people aren't lacking effort. They're lacking clear explanations and structured support."
Weight that once stayed stable begins to slowly increase. Energy dips become a daily pattern. Sleep feels inconsistent. Even when you try to eat well or exercise more, progress seems slow or temporary.
Over time, that frustration can turn inward. You might wonder whether you’ve simply lost discipline, or whether something about your body has permanently changed.
In reality, most people are not lacking effort. They are lacking clear explanations and structured support.
MEET JON
Hi, I’m Jon.
Founder, Fast Forward Nutrition.
Bachelor Health Science (Clinical Nutrition)
Dip. Health Science
CPN (AARPN)
ATMS Member
I'm a Certified Practising Nutritionist and founder of Fast Forward Nutrition. My professional training includes a Diploma of Health Science and a Bachelor of Health Science in Clinical Nutrition, with accreditation through AARPN and membership of ATMS.
Before transitioning into clinical nutrition, I spent many years working in operations, sales, and marketing. That background shaped how I approach health care today — knowledge alone is rarely enough. People need clear systems and practical strategies that work within real life.
My aim is not to create lifelong dependency. The goal is to help you develop the understanding and confidence to manage your health independently.

WHY THIS PRACTICE EXISTS
Fast Forward Nutrition was built
to bridge a very specific gap.
THE PROBLEM
Generic advice doesn't fit specific bodies
During my own health journey and clinical training, I kept seeing the same pattern. People were trying hard — yet cycling through diets and programs without lasting progress. What was missing wasn't motivation. It was metabolic literacy.
WHAT'S DIFFERENT
Structured pathways, not one-off advice
Many health services provide guidance during a consultation and leave clients to implement it alone. Fast Forward Nutrition offers structured pathways that provide accountability during the hardest phase of behaviour change.
THE APPROACH
Education replaces shame. Structure builds confidence.
This practice exists to bridge the gap between knowing what to do and consistently doing it. When people understand their physiology, something important happens — they begin to feel capable again instead of defeated.
THE GOAL
Independence, not ongoing dependence
Support is tapered as confidence grows. The aim is not to create lifelong reliance on check-ins. It's to equip you with the understanding and tools to manage your health confidently on your own.
MY APPROACH
Calm strategy.
Measured progress.
"I am not here to tell you what you're doing wrong. I'm here to help you understand what your body is actually doing — and build a plan that works with it."
My clinical approach combines evidence-informed nutrition care, behavioural change support, metabolic education, and structured accountability pathways.
I work primarily with adults experiencing metabolic stagnation, low energy, gradual weight gain, and ongoing frustration with diet cycles. Clients often arrive feeling overwhelmed by conflicting advice. My role is to simplify that complexity.
Together we identify the physiological drivers behind current symptoms and develop a realistic plan that fits your lifestyle — not an idealised version of it.
WHAT I STAND FOR
The principles that guide every consultation.
Integrity
Evidence-informed practice and AARPN ethical standards. No unrealistic promises. No fear-based messaging.
Education
Clients are not simply given instructions. They are shown the reasoning so they can make confident, informed decisions.
Structure
Sustainable change doesn't happen randomly. Every client journey follows a clear process from assessment to implementation.
Realism
Work stress, parenting demands and social commitments are considered in every strategy — not ignored.
Autonomy
The aim is not to create lifelong dependence — it's to equip clients with the tools to manage their health independently.
Inclusion
All genders, identities and backgrounds are welcome. Health support should feel safe and accessible.
WORKING TOGETHER
What you can expect
when you begin.
01
Relief — not more overwhelm
Many clients describe their first consultation as unexpectedly reassuring. When physiological patterns are explained clearly, people often realise their symptoms make sense — and that they're not the problem.
03
Structured support as habits form
Follow-up sessions and optional structured pathways provide accountability during the hardest phase — when motivation dips and real life gets in the way. Progress is reviewed and refined regularly.
02
A clear, realistic strategy
You'll leave the initial consultation with a specific, practical plan — not vague advice. Dietary structure, meal timing, lifestyle adjustments, and behaviour strategies tailored to your actual life.
04
Confidence that outlasts our work together
The end goal is independence. Support is gradually tapered as your understanding grows — so you feel capable of managing your health without constant guidance.
